When I join a Zoom meeting via the web, my computer headset is not working. The audio is coming from my computer speakers instead. On my MacBook Pro I have bluetooth headphones paired, yet Zoom audio still goes to the computer speaker. I can simultaneously play Youtube.

Make sure your mic is connected and turned on. If using an external mic, examine the connecting cable, or check your Bluetooth settings if using. Here’s how you change your microphone and speaker settings in Zoom after you have plugged in your headphones to the device OR have connect your wireless. Are you selecting them in Zoom? I have an issue where my music does not play through Bluetooth headphones after a Zoom meeting. It was working perfectly fine before, but after my Zoom meeting which I listened to and participated in using my Bluetooth headphones, the sound didn’t work.

The song was playing, but there was no sound through my headphones. This is a recurring problem after Zoom meetings. Was this reply helpful?

Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. This seems to be a common problem with Zoom. Even if there is not a solution, there should be an answer as to what the problem is–but I haven’t seen it. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
