Hey Ihave the same problem i tried it nothing works please is there anything there is to do to get the windows 7 logo screen back?

I was following this thread last year when I lost my ‘windows logo boot screen’ and tried all these fixes and searched the net to no avail! Last night, I had a problem with my pc and in order to check something I swapped over my monitor with my son’s one. We have the same set up and pc’s connected via LAN cable.

When I booted up imagine my surprise when I saw the windows boot screen ‘logo’ load up in all it’s glory. This tells me that my software is ok in relation to this so it must be a problem with my monitor itself. Just to double check, I hooked up my monitor to my son’s pc and there it still didn’t show the boot up screen?

The problem is the monitor. Is there any way to fix this as the drivers etc are all up to date, it just seems the monitor itself doesn’t want to show it and it’s a sealed unit Out of warranty of course after so long I wouldn’t have a clue how to go about this as I’m not an engineer!
